Next week, Lancope’s Director of Security Research Tom Cross will present at the FS-ISAC Annual Summit in Amelia Island, FL. Each year, the FS-ISAC hosts an Annual Summit to share timely and actionable intelligence on the latest cyber security threats, trends and technologies specifically tailored to financial services institutions.
The Lancope session, “Hunting for Advanced Attackers in Network Audit Trails,” will demonstrate how network logging technologies such as NetFlow and IPFIX can be analyzed to uncover anomalous traffic indicative of an attack. The intelligence gathered from this analysis can then be leveraged to detect sophisticated, targeted threats within the network, as well as to significantly improve incident response and forensic investigations into previous security incidents.
The session will take place on Wednesday, May 7 at 4:45 p.m. U.S. Eastern time. Click here for the full conference agenda. For more information on using NetFlow for advanced threat defense, go to: http://www.lancope.com/solutions/security-operations/benefits-of-netflow/.
