We've announced a new StealthWatch product this week and it comes in the form of a low-cost, small office FlowSensor designed to monitor up to 100Mbps of network traffic. The FlowSensor 250 appliance is equipped with three network interfaces - one for management and two for monitoring via SPAN/mirror/tap...
...and it's affordable! The FlowSensor 250 starts at $3,995. The pricing is designed in such a way that if you buy several (5 or more) the price begins to drop. We expect most customers will buy quite a few of these small network appliances. They are perfectly suited for small remote offices, closets, and other locations where you need flow visibility but...
1) don't have NetFlow at the remote office location or
2) don't want to spend an arm and a leg on traditional (expensive) probes or "sniffers".
Each FlowSensor 250 offers a simple web-UI for management and 160GB drive for packets captures. As I mentioned previously, the FlowSensor 250 works with any NetFlow collection system that supports NetFlow v9 but works best with Lancope's StealthWatch NetFlow System.
