Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Java Software Developer to contribute to our line of award winning network performance and security monitoring products. This position would provide a great opportunity for a creative and motivated individual to work in an Agile software development environment and as part of a fast-paced development team located in Alpharetta, GA.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Write server-side business-logic and data access code
  • Work on the design and implementation of command, control and data-retrieval protocols
  • Contribute to the design and development of a product-wide application stacks and frameworks

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • At least 5 years professional experience
  • Significant experience with XML, SAX, DOM, XSD and SOAP web services
  • A solid understanding of core Java programming and run-time principles and fundamentals
  • Strong object orientated software design and development skills
  • An understanding of application performance tuning and resource usage
  • Familiarity with a Linux or UNIX runtime environment
  • A solid understanding of architectural principles such as Layering, Inversion of Control and Separation of Concerns
  • Knowledge of IP networking and security is preferred
  • Experience with jQuery JavaScript library and plugins is a plus
  • Experience with Spring, Spring MVC or Spring Security is a plus
