Mike Potts |

Bringing over 20 years of experience as a seasoned technology industry veteran spanning the application and security sectors, Mike Potts leads all aspects of Lancope’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations. Prior to joining Lancope, he served as President and CEO of AirDefense, where he led the company’s breakthrough wireless security growth of more than 300% in 2 1/2 years and completed the strategic, all-cash acquisition of the company by Motorola in September 2008. While at AirDefense, Potts was recognized as the Atlanta Telecom Professional of the Year. Potts’ previous roles include CEO of ClickFox, President of Jacada, and various sales and marketing roles at MSA, which was subsequently acquired by Dun & Bradstreet. Potts completed his BBA in Marketing in 1984 at the University of Georgia. |

David Cocchiara |

As COO and CFO, David Cocchiara is responsible for the management of Lancope’s financial, legal and other operational functions, as well as serving as the head of business development overseeing strategic alliances and partnerships. Throughout his tenure, he has helped drive key initiatives across marketing, sales, business development and engineering, and was part of the executive team that led Lancope from its early start-up stage to achieving profitability as a pioneering, high-growth network visibility company. Cocchiara has over 15 years of experience providing early-stage technology and consumer goods companies with a wide range of financial consulting services. Prior to joining Lancope, he served as controller and director of financial operations for Captus Networks, and as a manager at KPMG LLP. Cocchiara is a certified public accountant and holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Chico. |

David Scruggs |

Bringing over ten years of experience with leading technology companies, David Scruggs is the VP of North American Sales for Lancope. In his current role, Scruggs is responsible for all Commercial, Government, Channels and Pre Sales Engineering in the United States and Canada. Prior to this role, Scruggs excelled as the Director of U.S. Commercial Sales for Lancope and achieved dramatic sales growth as Lancope's Major Account Manager in the Southeast, focused exclusively on the Fortune 1000. Previously Scruggs served for 3 years as an Account Manager for Internet Security Systems (ISS). During his tenure, he successfully delivered a broad array of security products and services to the large enterprise market. Before ISS, he spent 6 years with IBM and an IBM partner. Scruggs holds a BBA in Management degree from Georgia State University. |

Jason Anderson |

With over fifteen years of experience in the network security industry, Jason Anderson is the Vice President of Operations for Lancope, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. As VP of Operations, Anderson manages Customer Support, IT, Ordering, Fulfillment and Facilities, and is Lancope's Export Compliance Officer. Joining Lancope in 2003, Anderson served as Vice President of Engineering before taking on responsibility for Operations. Prior to joining Lancope, he was with Internet Security Systems (ISS), where he served as Engineer, Product Manager and Product Line Manager for its Network Protection Solutions. Anderson holds a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Management of Technology from Georgia Tech. |

Jody Ma Kissling |

Bringing over thirteen years of experience with an emphasis on marketing security and emerging technologies, Jody Ma Kissling is the Vice President of Marketing for Lancope. In her current role, she is responsible for planning and execution of the company’s global marketing and communications strategy. Prior to Lancope, Jody held various communications positions with leading IT organizations, including Technology Builders Inc. (now Borland), SecureWorks and Support Technologies. A prominent member of Georgia’s technology and business community, she served four years on the Board of Directors for Women in Technology. Jody earned an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University and graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University. |

Tom Albert |

As vice president of business development, Tom Albert is focused on the creation of strategic security partnerships for government and enterprise markets. He brings over 10 years of sales experience in IT and security. Prior to joining Lancope, Albert served as senior advisor for cybersecurity at Cisco, responsible for driving the company’s go-to-market strategy, solution focus and sales/marketing approach. His previous roles at Cisco also include security product sales specialist for the Federal market and regional security sales manager. Before joining Cisco in 2007, Albert served as a channel manager for Oracle, as well as Federal regional sales manager for Symantec, Federal territory manager for Sygate Technologies and territory manager for Rainbow Technologies. Albert holds a BA in Marketing Communications from Pennsylvania State University. |

Jim Magers |

As vice president of engineering, Magers is responsible for the successful development and delivery of Lancope’s award-winning StealthWatch flow-based monitoring system. With more than 25 years of experience managing and leading technology teams, Magers has previously served as executive vice president of product development at security firm, nuBridges. He also held several vice president roles with financial services technology provider, CheckFree, over the span of 12 years in the areas of corporate development, product management and product development. Previous roles also include vice president of product development for educational software provider, Performance Matters, chief technology officer at Brightree and vice president at ADP. Magers is highly experienced at implementing the Agile software development methodology, and holds a degree in business administration with a concentration in information systems from the Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business. |

Joe Buchanan |

As vice president of systems engineering, Joe Buchanan brings to Lancope over 14 years of technology experience with a focus on analyzing complex networks and designing an effective security and monitoring solution. He is responsible for driving technical pre-sales, solution architecture and implementation to ensure customer satisfaction for Fortune 1000 companies. Buchanan joined Lancope in 2004, most recently serving as director of systems engineering. Prior to joining Lancope, he worked in a senior systems support role with Mirant, a Fortune 500 energy company that was previously a division of Southern Company. Preceding Mirant, Buchanan spent seven years in the United States Air Force. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, as well as numerous technical certifications. |

Kerry Armistead |

As vice president of product management, Kerry Armistead brings over 10 years of experience delivering high-value products in the information technology and security markets. In his current role, he is responsible for shaping the company's product strategy, defining the roadmap for future product development and ensuring Lancope’s products provide high-value solutions to its customers. Armistead’s previous experience includes five years as a senior product manager at IBM Internet Security Systems where he worked to set strategic direction and conceptualize product roadmaps. Just before joining Lancope, Armistead served as the director of product management and marketing for cloud-based IT services provider Cbeyond, developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for several product lines including security services. Previously, he was director of product management at McKesson Provider Technologies, delivering IT solutions to the healthcare industry. Prior to McKesson, he held product management leadership roles for Kaneva, the social entertainment company, and Global Knowledge, a business and IT training company. Armistead holds a B.S. in Marketing from Clemson University. |

Tariq Ahmed |

Tariq Ahmed is the Managing Director of EMEA and International for Lancope. Based in London, he brings to the company more than 25 years of technology sales experience and 16 years in the information security sector. Previously, he spent six years at Cisco Systems, serving in various roles including Security Sales Business Development Manager for both Northern Europe and Emerging Markets theaters. He also spent eight years at Check Point as the sales director for Northern Europe, turning his territory into the company’s most profitable region and establishing Check Point’s very first channel program. Most recently, Tariq served as EMEA Channel Sales Managing Director for the automated network control provider, Infoblox. |
