Lancope Elects Richard Baich to Board of Directors

Lancope, Inc., the leading provider of Network Integrity solutions, today announced that the company's Board of Directors has elected Rich Baich, CISSP/CISM and chief information security officer (CISO) at ChoicePoint (NYSE:CPS), as a member of the board. His election to the board of Lancope enables him to help shape innovative solutions for the protection of the nation’s critical IT infrastructure.

Prior to joining ChoicePoint, Baich served in various security leadership capacities, including Cryptology Naval Officer serving at the National Security Agency (NSA), Information Security Consultant , Senior Director, Professional Services for Network Associates and recently as the Special Assistant to the Deputy Director for the National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC) within the FBI.
He holds a BS from United States Naval Academy, MBA / MSM from University of Maryland University College, and has been awarded the National Security Telecommunications and Information Systems Security (NSTISSI) 4011 Certification, the NSA sponsored Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Assessment Methodology (IAM) Certification, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Baich received Georgia’s Information Security Executive Officer of the Year for 2004 and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta InfraGard organization.
