Lancope Names Tim McCormick Vice President of Marketing

Security Veteran Provides Industry Expertise and Focus

ATLANTA, FEBRUARY 1, 2005 - Lancope®, Inc., the leading provider of network behavior anomaly detection (NBAD) systems, today announced that Tim McCormick, a highly-esteemed veteran of the information security industry, has joined the executive management team as vice president of marketing. In his new role, McCormick will lead the company’s marketing, branding and customer acquisition strategy and execution.

McCormick brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and business development in enterprise software to Lancope. Most recently McCormick was vice president of marketing at ClickFox, a customer behavior intelligence start-up. Prior to that, McCormick was a member of the founding management team and vice president of marketing for Internet Security Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISSX). McCormick joined ISS in 1996, where he led ISS’ marketing team, establishing market awareness and growing revenue and market share. During his tenure at ISS, revenue grew from $250K in 1995 to over $245M in 2003. Before ISS, McCormick held various senior marketing and sales management roles at enterprise software start-ups and global, public software companies, including D&B Software/MSA, TSW International, TSI International, ASK Computer Systems and Oriole Software, Inc.
