Lancope® PRESS RELEASE

Lancope’s StealthWatch System Earns Common Criteria Certification

Leading Network Behavior Analysis Solution Achieves Critical Milestone for Global Government Deployments

Atlanta, June 16, 2008— Lancope, Inc., the provider of the StealthWatch™ System, the most widely used Network Behavior Analysis (NBA) and response solution, today announced that StealthWatch has earned Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 2 Augmented Certification from the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP). StealthWatch is also the only NBA solution to adhere to a validated U.S. Government Protection Profile, which demands conformance with guidelines established by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Security Agency (NSA). Lancope’s Validation Report and Security Target can be found on NIAP's website at http://www.niap-ccevs.org/cc-scheme/st/index.cfm/vid/10243.

The Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS) requires an impartial assessment of a product for conformance to a set of security requirements outlined by the International Standards Organization. The Common Criteria EAL2 certification validates StealthWatch as a flow-based enterprise solution that leverages the network infrastructure to identify behavior anomalies, protect critical systems, prevent downtime, improve performance and pinpoint the source of incidents.

“Earning Common Criteria certification reaffirms StealthWatch’s effectiveness as a network behavior analysis and response solution, and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of government agencies worldwide,” said Harland LaVigne, president and CEO of Lancope. “By achieving Common Criteria EAL2 certification, StealthWatch has proven that it meets rigorous performance standards for IT security solutions, better enabling our resellers and partners to provide government customers across the globe with a solution that optimizes network performance and streamlines security operations.”
